Travel To Malaysia January 25th, 2009

Many roads to Rome. Many also how to travel to foreign countries with minimal budgets. Economic began crossing the border from West Kalimantan, East Malaysia which do not require payment of the fiscal cost. At 05.00 on August 9 and Tebakang Express bus that we were riding from Pontianak since 21:00 o’clock, the night before, entered the Entikong border. The gate of the immigration office was closed, but the passengers off the bus and prepared to be asked at the front gate.
Once our group was composed of seven women: three newspaper journalist and one of the Healthy Lifestyles, an employee of Bank Mandiri, and two people Archaeological UI Five minutes later the gates opened and all those who want to travel to East Malaysia rushed to the queue at immigration.
When the line got closer to us looking Malays, suddenly appeared grim-looking man next to us. “Where’s passport? Who would take?” he said harshly.
Did not take long for me to realize that this man must have thought we were a group TKW. Aware that the document should not be a passport is not transferable to the person concerned, with a voice that no less fierce, and Diamond I, journalist W, in unison said, “Why ask for a passport?” Found that the potential prey more fierce and clever, creepy-looking man was in cash disappeared from our sight.
Finalized with immigration, we boarded the bus again. About two hours later we had entered the city of Kuching. The capital of Sarawak state is relatively quiet with the latest cars on the road slid wide and smooth.
Stray into the City
Kuching City in the terminal group of us doing the cleaning themselves improvised in layman aka asserted public latrines. There is really a shower. There is just brush my teeth and wash my face and then filling the stomach with fat rice menu.
This menu is basically similar to Tegal food stalls in Indonesia. Consists of rice and vegetables and side dishes. Unfortunately, it does not kick in the tongue of the usual pampered Indonesia seasoning.
When ordering drinks, we learned that to sweet iced tea, we had to call ais tea o. If desperate ordered sweet tea, the Malaysian will serve sweet tea mixed with milk. Do not occasionally smash said. They only know juice Oren.
Energy from the food, we prepared an extra large backpack holds companions will take place during the 2nd week. Wait no wait, a bus bound to Kuching airport never arrived. Back and forth in a car called angkot Indonesia, offered us to rent a day. Thirty minutes passed without a passing bus, we finally got a rental car.
The car was driven by a man named Malays Fri We ask him escorted to the airport., it could take us Fri downtown because the airport highway inMalaysia means the city, not the airport. However, because the airport there was no luggage storage facilities and also do not check in swal, we decided to tour the City of Kuching with duffel bags and suitcases of our beloved. Seeing a variety of delicious food, I immediately took the camera for the photos that food.
Rice is sprinkled with spices spices unique to Japan are very strong fish taste, unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of rice and spices are.
Once one group had finished eating and left, some immediately adjusted and maids to clean the table, and about ten minutes later, the table is presented like the above menu, I applaud the work at the diner waitress.
When finished eating, the trip continues to attractions such as Mount Fuji, Lake Ashi and night, I stayed at the hotel as well Kawaguchi dinner at the hotel.
Again, a warm bowl of udon become a mainstay of the dinner menu, plus a warm soup containing cooked their own fish, chicken, tohu, vegetables and a tray of fried chicken and delicious Kriuk, tohu, pineapple and a cup of warm green tea.
