Bandar Kuching
Travel To Malaysia September 27th, 2009

I want to tell you a little about the town where I live now, okay already 8 years old, somehow when I am allowed to stay here. Of course permitted by the Malaysian government and YME, because every 2 years I extend permission to stay here, because the husband was hired by the government of Sarawak is a 2 year, whether this year will be extended or not, we just said to wait.
During his stay here, of course ups and downs of my family must have experienced, but I think a lot of dislike rather than grief, since it wrote to stay here at home, if home must have escaped from the first, aka home.
What makes me feel at home, except of course the income her husband had always clear arrival (per month), is due to the small population, alias city is not too crowded, like Jakarta for example.
Initially it quiet, 8 years ago, but this akhir2 I’ve felt improvement, aka start no traffic on the streets at certain jam2, such as morning, afternoon and evening.
That’s all the time left for school, work, , and come home from school and home work. But than in Jakarta, my congestion in Kuching well its not there. When my husband got home from work at 5 lantern (right), well until the home could be at 5.30, though the distance is the office home with 15 minutes’ walk. This is exactly stuck, but it has not apa2 than Jakarta.
Time off work, it is time to pick up the kids after school (the public schools, cuman school half a day), then after the kids come home from school, or drive instead of school children (who can jam in the afternoon) can rest a little at home, aka can follow-up eat lunch at home, one can even take a nap at home.
So how nice to live in Kuching, can take a nap for 2’s father. So for us who had been living in Jakarta, seemed first live alone, which no hurry, safe and peaceful.
Besides love, of course there is grief, grief is the relationship between the two countries, one often feels in the public treatment in Kuching, when relations between the two countries are problematic, then, we often hear people complain, or mocking our country, or Indonesia, although they sometimes do not know, that we people of Indonesia (eg an elevator).
For example the problem of smoke (or better known here by the term jerebu), now often we become bulan2an, that we were wrong, and certainly we often say, if you do not want to smoke, well do not take the wood (
About, about food, we were a little difficult at first to adapt, but a long, all the food much can or even used to go in our stomachs, although our daily cooking more often of course Indonesia. Indonesian food is similar to Malaysian food, but really it’s so much different. What we feel, is a Malaysian food is not too much variation, while the Indonesian cuisine so many variations, so we often miss the cuisine of Indonesia.
About language, we have a chance anak2 attending (government – the country) but there is also a private school in, if a school in the country, he pandailah Sarawak languages, Malyasia and English, is a private (advent) only good English, should also good at Mandarin, our kids just can not handle it well.
We’ve been through days Kingdom (Idulfitri) 4 times in Kuching this, we do not feel too lonely, far away from you, because each visit is very tight, the Christians, Chinese, Muslims will be visiting on this great day, so when the day Lunar New Year, or Gong Xi Fat Coi we will many invitations to visit you this Chinese in Kuching. So between the religious fabric very closely, too.
So quick story of Kuching city we had lived for almost 8 years, there are some photos that we can include, as a personal collection of photos, hopefully pleasing the reader everything.

Beach City Beauty
Travel To Vietnam September 21st, 2009

Nha Thrang is a city in northern Vietnam. From Jakarta, we must go down first to Saigon (now called Ho Chi Min City) and spent the night there. In the morning we had a connecting flight to the city with travel time of about an hour.
The atmosphere was bustling town by people who go home or go to work. The people are eagerly looking at the bikes and their bikes. Most of them wear a mask because it’s dusty streets are steaming.
Beyond that, the obvious Nha Trang is Vietnam’s leading satellite cities that have potential to beautiful beaches and the sea. The Vietnamese government seems to design the city as the equivalent of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu and promote it heavily.
That we can see from the layout of the coconut tree, gazebo, white sand, its supporting facilities. Moreover, the exotic atmosphere of the beach really can we get there, especially at dusk and at night. As the sun dimmed and smoke began billowing steam along the coast road.
Nha Thrang can also enjoy the variety of typical servings of ocean. Shellfish boiled, grilled fish, seafood fried rice, mixed with roasted duck and fried grasshoppers, and various insects to cobra. Hmm, must have a sensational and somewhat bizarre by our tastes, but interesting to try.
What is important to note, life of a city tour will provide a means of life for residents. Along Nha Trang beach grow and small restaurants offering seafood variety of diverse types and creation according to the size of the pockets of the visitors. Lesehan to start from the big restaurants alongside cohesive and harmonious.
What about price? Self-worth and bought both by tourists and local communities. There is no excessive profit taking)because they realized that the visitors are loyal buyers and would come back if dissatisfied with their service.
As a result, the economy was not only hung on the tourists who come, but local people also enjoy the products offered. This climate is conducive for tourism are able to integrate and involve local communities in the habit of tourism development. That’s what tips might not have our tourism community. In Nha Trang, there are tourists or not, the economic wheel fixed and can not walk.
Vietnam is rich in marine products to be proud to tourists, from a wet to dry. Perhaps we already know some products are so masculine male icons of myth. Call it the blood and flesh of cobra snakes, baby deer, scorpions, or super gecko. The materials were put into the jar and dicencem or soaked in wine is said to increase male potency.
Such goods sold in the market many Trang Thuong Thum (read: Cak Dom), in the town of Nha Trang. Uniquely, the drug was powerful in the market are made from marine products like sea horses, crustaceans (either of what type of species), and many others.
Clearly, a sea-way as a typical product that we can enjoy in Vietnam. See it, dry food from the sea looking to decorate all the stalls and baskets, small baskets (push or hip) such as dried squid, grilled squid, salted fish, ebi, and others. Indeed they have the creative ability of marine product processing very well.
Moreover, Vietnamese people are very fond of eating seafood. So, they have realized that the sea is the main resource buffer their food (food security). Naturally, if they were serious about maintaining marine resources they have. Read the rest of this entry »
