Changdeokgung

Changdeokgung (Changdeokgung) is a complex Joseon Dynasty palace in Seoul, South Korea. Changdeokgung is one of the Five Great Palace which was built as a royal residence. Changdeokgung lies east of Gyeongbokgung, so often referred to Donggung or Eastern Palace. Meaning of Changdeokgung (昌 德 宫) is the Palace of Prosperity
Changdeokgung once inhabited many Joseon Dynasty kings, and inherit the elements of the Three Kingdoms period is not included in the architectural development of Gyeongbokgung. One of these elements is Changdeokgung merging with the natural topography that looks very harmonious.
