Route the streets, cheap healthy and recently opened to the public in Singapore is the Southern ridges. This route consists of several public parks that are associated with tracks, with a total distance of 9 kilometers. The gardens are connected among other Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, Kent Ridge Park, Science Park and West Coast Park.
My first exploration, one morning last month, starting with treading Marang Trail, which is located not far from Harbourfront MRT station. Fortunately the sky was clear enough, although the drizzle had arrived when I left. Journey through the 800 meters and also the path of forest cutting steps took me to Mount Faber Park.

At that time Mount Faber Park, one of the oldest parks in Singapore that the extent of 56 acres, packed with visitors who enjoy the morning air while jogging or a leisurely stroll. Total distance splitting Faber Mount Faber Walk Park is 1 kilometer.

The journey continues to the Henderson Waves, the bridge that connects Mount Faber and Telok Blangah Hill. The highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore is located 36 meters above Henderson Road. What is unique from this bridge is a structure that looks like a wave, formed from the ranks of the curved metal poles up and down. In some places also written that the bridge height above sea level.

Next is the Hilltop Walk, 1 mile track through Telok Blangah Hill Park area of 34 hectares. The most impressive part of this park is the Terrace Garden, filled with flowers bugenvile. Quite high ladder I was willing to climb for the view from the top.

Forest Walk linking Telok Blangah Hill and Alexandra Arch. Forest Walk itself is 1.3 kilometers, consisting of an iron bridge with trees in the surrounding landscape and also at the bottom of the bridge.

Next is the Alexandra Arch, across the bridge over Alexandra Road, as far as 800 meters.

My favorite part is the Floral Walk, a short track as far as 300 meters to connect Alexandra Arch and Hortpark. As the name implies, the place was crammed with flowers look very tempting to be photographed
:)

Hortpark is the center of recreation, education, research and retail as well as for things related to gardening. There are many outdoor displays associated with home gardening, can be used as inspiration.

From Hortpark, I went to Kent Ridge Park through the Canopy Walk. Bridge in the middle of the forest is surrounded by a variety of plants and wild animals. Many plants are labeled with the name and description of a fairly informative.

Actually, I wish to continue trekking up to the Science Park, but what power, canceled plans arbitrarily by the black clouds that followed heavy rains flushed mercilessly. Well, next time,
